- An 8th grade English teacher for the past 16 years, my interest in photography began in my early teens. An avid Fuji Velvia shooter for years, I finally purchased my first digital camera, a Canon 20D, in January of 2005. I started my photography business on the side in 2004, and it has grown into a second career. I love how my teaching profession and photography business work so seamlessly together. Today, I find myself shooting in excess of 100,000 images a year, including wedding imagery, senior and family portrait work, sports team and action shots, and my true passion, landscape and wildife. I'm actually doing what I always dreamed and I feel totally blessed.

I think that just the point that the book is written for teenagers makes it good. Mr. Sonnenblick captured a teenagers emotions and probally the most realistic thoughts that would go through a teenagers head. Also the humor in the book is crazy great to go along with the story. The chapters are all cliffhangers that make you want to keep on reading. Its nice to read a humorous book that also has an important life lesson in it
It was a good book i thought because it made a conection to some kids situation.
Yes, because it had interesting similes.metaphors,flashbacks,hybole,etc. that made the book intresting to read and also the plot was very good i liked it a lot, and finaly the characters were lke ment for this story like if alexs name was harry that just dosent seem right
i think the book is a good and that it probably should have had a better ending it is very sad and i think the ending shouild have gone better.....

i will be the first to say that my opinions about this book have deinitly changes. I thought that this was going to be a boring book and it wouldnt explain stuff because it is short and all these other things. but i am happy to say i was proven wrong. this has been a definite page turner and i would recomend this book to anyone because it is GREAT book!
I think that this is book is really good especically since he wrote for teenagers so that we can relate to it. Not many books are written for teenagers. Another reason this a really good book is because it is really fun but sad in some parts and it is really easy to read and follow what is going on in the story.

I thought it was a really good novel, but not in the sense of my opinion. What I thought was and is a good novel is when the book is written where you are in the main character's head (1st person). But the novel was very good.
I think this book is a good novel. Well first, it is the only book i have ever read in my entire life front to back.So it has good suspence. and it has everything i think.
Yes absolutely, the imagery was great it had a lot of humor, suspense, but most of all the characters were very relatetoable it had a very very strong theme and if you really thought about this book a lot can be learned from it its like a big old sarcastic funny teenaged philosophy book.

I think it is a great novel. It had most of everything in my vocabulary of a fantastic novel. This includes, Comedy, love, comedy, comedy... uhh comedy. Have I said comedy yet? This book was loaded with Comedy!!!!!

I think Notes From A Midnight Driver is a great novel. It shows that if someone makes one mistake, thr=ey can change from it and be a better person.
In my opinion "Notes From The Midnight Driver" is a great novel because it keeps the reader involved in the situations and it has great suspense. Also the humor was a brilliant way of describing Alex's personality. The reader was able to relate to a series of problems that had to be dealt with in the book. The book Sonnenblick wrote has an amazing, real life fealing in it. The characters are very accurate to todays high shool students and that is what made it so real. It's almost as if Alex is not just a character from the book, but instead a real person that goes to a real high school and has these real issues. Which by the way, it is unbelievable how much reality is in those situations that arn't at all made up.

Yes, I think the book is a great novel because it really pulled you in and it was really interesting/intertaining. It was pointed towards us kids so that made it all the more fun to read. Also it had life lessons and love and it showed how something so wrong could turn or so right. It was also sad but I know how Alex felt when Sol died. It has happened to me before and it's not fun. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading other books written by Sonnenblick.

This book is alright i guess. i mean it shows what normal teens (in my eyes normal teens) are doing in todays times but i just dont like it. sure it captures the things we do and the punishments we get but it doesnt capute what really happens in life. we dont get out that easy.

Yes. In my opinion, Notes From The Midnight Driver is a great novel. It is a very good book and I enjoyed reading it. I would read it a couple more times. But, over a period of time. I wouldn't read it two or three times in a row. But, thats just me.

i think that this is an amazing noval that teaches you many life leasons. Everyone in the 8th grade that has read this book all have at least one conection with this book. It has opened up many eyes and answered many questions for people. Also it uses humor which is the best way to get kids caught up in reading.

Yes, I do think "Notes from a Midnight Driver" was a great book! It was easy to connect with this book because of the humor and the attitude of the characters. This definitely wasn't a book that was hard to get into and boring to read. From the first page I was hooked! and ALWAYS wanted to read more.

Notes from the Midnight Driver is a fantastic novel. It pulls the reader with great humor and wonderful supense. In addition, it teaches many themes such as self-improvement, love, sacrifce, friendship, family and growing up. Furthermore, with an in depth explanation you can find many life long morals from each theme. Moreover, Notes from the Midnight driver as an unequivically, amazing plot and fun charachters. Without a doubt this is one of the best books I've read before!

I think that Notes From A Midnight Driver was and amazing book!! Sonnenblick did a great job of getting an important poit accross as well as making this book suspencfull and relatable. I think that this story was one that every Jr. High student should read just because it is so realtable and could really help many people stay out of trouble and help to prevent drunk driving....
I think taht this book was great. It had suspence and a good story line connected. If the author were to make another book continuing this one I would read it in a heartbeat.

Yes it had everything!! Romance,Hatred, Forgiveniss, mistakes problems and kept on drawing everyone in, i could always see what was going on, and at the end of every chapter my jaw dropped it was packed full of suspense! It had it all there is no greater novel then Notes from the Midnight Driver.

I think that Notes From the Midnight Driver is written to entertain the person who is reading it. the book was made to capture the readers attention with sarcasm and seriusness because all the things written can be really true in our lives. it was written for teenage mines so that we can understand that life is not always perfect and we deal with the consquences afterward from them.
