- An 8th grade English teacher for the past 16 years, my interest in photography began in my early teens. An avid Fuji Velvia shooter for years, I finally purchased my first digital camera, a Canon 20D, in January of 2005. I started my photography business on the side in 2004, and it has grown into a second career. I love how my teaching profession and photography business work so seamlessly together. Today, I find myself shooting in excess of 100,000 images a year, including wedding imagery, senior and family portrait work, sports team and action shots, and my true passion, landscape and wildife. I hink laurie is smart and she doesn't let people step on her because of her judo. She's also wise because Alex said that she gives him advise.
I think that Laurie is really funny and isn't afraid to say anything at all..she is nice but can be mean when she needs to be..

I think Laurie is a strong girl who appears small but has a big impression and stands up for her thoughts. In the book it states she was 92 pounds and 5 feet tall, but she beat up a kid who was 30 pounds more than Alex. This shows that even though Laurie may seem like a little girl who wouldn't do much,she really stands up for what she believes in. Also this shows she doesn't have much pacience... which could be a big conflict between her and Alex.
i think laurie is a good person excecp when she is mad because she just yells at people and doesnt let them say a thing even if she is wrong

She thinks that Alex is the stupidest person alive. She doesn't trust Alex. She is a small person. In the book it said that she is 92 pounds and 5 feet tall. She beat up a kid that was a lot bigger than her. I think she is feared all around the school. Overall I would not want to be a friend with Laurie.

I think Laurie is a caring person. In the book it said she kept calling their house until Alex's mom finally told her why Alex couldn't come to the phone..and she would call him names and yell at him, but she was doing it because she cares about him. So when she calls him a mean name it really sinks into him since it is coming from a true and best friend. She is also tough and says what she pleases and is honest and just lays it all out for you.

I think Laurie is just like a mini-mom to Alex. She yells at him because she cares about him. If she didn't care then she woudn't have called four times on Saturday and twice on Sunday. So she obviously cares for him. What friend wouldn't care about another friend?

I think is laurie is a small girl but really tuff. and she isnt afraid of anything. she really cares for her friends. Alex got in trouble and she was all over his case.
i think laurie knows what she is doing and she was upset that alex did such a stupid thing, they are best friends and its hard to imagin loosing one of thoughs in your life because they are so importent i think of a best friend as a saport system that can help you through whatever no matter what.

Laurie hasn't changed much. I think that she is still a nice girl, but I think she stands up for herself... big time. I know she isn't afraid to say anying... and I also think she cares for Alex alot, almost like a mom!

I think Laurie is a caring person, because she cares about what Alex did, and that is why she yelled at him when he came to school, she is also confident, she is not afraid to stick up for herself and other people, for example sticking up for Alex when a bully was making fun of what he did and how he looked from the accident.

A bad friend would just laugh with alex and tell him that that was awesome what he did and they would not give alex any advice.. I like Laurie she has a rough personality and she is a friend that is always there for you. My thought of Laurie has not changed a whole lot. I still think she is a funny girl who doesn't let people take advantage of her. Her personality really showed when she was with Sol... she was a very caring, nice kid until Sol took advantage of her. Then she got kinda mad...
