- An 8th grade English teacher for the past 16 years, my interest in photography began in my early teens. An avid Fuji Velvia shooter for years, I finally purchased my first digital camera, a Canon 20D, in January of 2005. I started my photography business on the side in 2004, and it has grown into a second career. I love how my teaching profession and photography business work so seamlessly together. Today, I find myself shooting in excess of 100,000 images a year, including wedding imagery, senior and family portrait work, sports team and action shots, and my true passion, landscape and wildife. I think alex is a good kid he just needs a little help. true he has made some bad decisions in life but he is going through tough times.
i think that alex is regreting wat he did because he is probably really sore and i think he knows that he made a stupid mistake....
I think Alex is a very good kid who happened to make a bad decision. I think it is very understandable that he made this decision considering the hardships he is going through. This doesn't make his decision OK, but it makes it a little more of a reasonable choice

I think Alex is trying to find creative ways to slove his problems that have reccenly come up in his life. He doesnt seem to give to much thought about these problems he seems to just do them. However, I'm sure that he will find the right solution to them sometime soon.
Alex's Mother: Alex's mother is very wooried about Alex's reccent car accident. She also seems confused because she thought that Alex would not be the type of son to do this. Moreover, Alex's mother wonders if she can trust him to after his accident.
I think Alex is a good kid, he might be a little bit of a trouble maker but overall he is a good kid, because even though he made a poor decision, he made it because he was mad at his parents for getting a divorce, so it is understandable that he did that.

Alex is really smart and starting to understand how Mr. Solomon ticks. He seems to like Laurie and Sol thinks so too. Alex thinks he diserves his responsibility back even though he does not deserve it.

As i read more in the book... i now think that Alex is a nice kid. While he is now trying to make Sol happy... it seems like he is now a very generous kid who cares for others more than i thought.
I think Alex is a normal teen. Foolish and curious. Sure he needs to be punished and i think his punishment is reasonable but he's just a teenager figuring out life.

I think that ALex is a self-indepent type of kid. He likes to do his own thing wheather it is wrong or right. He doesn't really think about what might happen he just does what he wants. Wow... My oppinion on Alex has changed dramatically... my opinion earlier remains the same... but I also think this kid wants to be loved... he is now turning to Laurie to BE loved and cared for! I think in the long run this will be important with his parents getting back together and all. I almost wonder if Lauie and Alex will become almost a family later on!!!

Alex has really changed from the begining of the book because he is more responsible and is showing that he cares for the home too. He does seem to get shocked when he found out that sol can play the guitar. He is a person that wants to know everthing about a person.

I think Alex is a good person and is a lot more dependable and responsible and all a better person. Since Sol is in his life he has not been focusing on the devouce as much and now he know his dad did'nt leave him which I am sure makes him feel a little better, at least he doesn't think that his dad abnadoned him any more. And now his parents are back together for now stuff might be better. I think since he felt unloved and unimportant before and now he doesn't feel that way anymore so he cares. When someone feels that way it is hard to care.
I think Alex is mad that he was asked to the dance by someone who isnt laurie.
ALex has changed, i think alex will vist solomon after he is done with his hours at the nursing home. I also think he will get solomon and his daughter to get along. Therefore that tells me that he is caring.
wow! i think alex has really came around! he has opened up so much and has became so much better with his people skills and social skills. volunteering at the home has really brought out a better and improved alex. it kind of proves that he really DOES care and like Solomon. it was HUGE of alex to put on a show for the old people too.

Alex went from being shy,confused, and frustrated, to growing to a controlled adult, calm, and responsible. I am inpressed with Alex's progress in his choices there are some times where he can get a little carried away but overall he seems to be doing great.

Alex is hard headed because he drank and drove killed a come and he still refuses to say "ya what I did was bad and I wish I hadn't broken the come" and instead thinks it was just a come and nothing bad happened.

I think that Alex has changed alot! He has become more mature and grown up. He knows that what he did was wrong and is trying to fix that and is becoming a good person. Also he is really liking Laurie and she is liking him so I think that he is really happy about that too! Alex has matured quite a bit since the beginning of the book, which is great. Can't wait to see what happens next!

i think alex is a very confused person, but in his situation he has every right to be. He can't decide if the world revolves around him or not. four of the five reasons for the concert were for him but one of the best reasons was to entertain the elderly, he also can't decide weather to act on impulse or think things through, which he is starting to do, but he has a lot going on with family issues and now he's realizing just how much he likes laurie, but at the same time trying to convince himself otherwise.
